Klaus Lattmann

Klaus Lattmann (* 27. February 1923 in Potsdam , † 4. March 2016 in Hamburg ) was a German politician of the CDU and member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

Lattmann was a trained banker. From 1960 to 1966 he was a member of the Altona district assembly . From 1966 to 1997 he was a member of the Hamburg parliament for the CDU. There he was for the CDU parliamentary group, among other things, in the committee for the constitution, rules of procedure and election examination and in the culture committee. He was also the parliamentary group's cultural policy spokesman.

The former director and co-founder of the Museum of Labor in Hamburg-Barmbek, Gernot Krankenhagen , said in 2004 about Lattmann that he was one of those from the CDU with whom one could have excellent discussions and who understood the issue.

He was a brother of Dieter Lattmann .
