Klaus Müller (born November 19, 1950 ) is a former German soccer player . In the Bundesliga season 1970/71 , the 20-year-old young player played a Bundesliga game at SV Werder Bremen .

Career

Müller, like his previous teammates Willi Götz and Volker Schöttner, was accepted by the Werder amateurs from the Bremen amateur league in the 1970/71 season and played a game in the Bundesliga. Coach Robert Gebhardt changed Müller on the 12th match day, October 24, 1970, in the home game against Hannover 96 in the 60th minute for left winger Bernd Lorenz . In the last 30 minutes he formed the attack of the Green-Whites with Werner Thelen and Bernd Windhausen . The match ended goalless. In the further course of the season he did not get a chance and moved after the season to SpVgg Bayreuth in the then second -rate regional football league south . Under coach Jenö Vincze , however, he was unable to establish himself as a regular at the side of team-mates like Manfred Großler , Herbert Horn , Wolfgang Böhni , Manfred Lucas , Bruno Dvorak and Ewald Schäffner and therefore moved on to Bavarian amateur football after four regional league appearances at SpVgg Weiden . The available literature does not reveal any further stations in higher-class football.
