Klaus Neubauer

Klaus Neubauer (born December 18, 1944 in Chemnitz ) is a German painter and graphic artist .

Life

After graduating from the Polytechnic High School in Chemnitz (then Karl-Marx-Stadt), Klaus Neubauer attended the workers and farmers faculty in Dresden from 1961 to 1963 , where he graduated from high school. 1963 to 1964 he completed an apprenticeship as a decorative painter in Chemnitz . From 1964 to 1969 he studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts . He made his diploma in wall painting with Alfred Hesse . Neubauer has been working as a freelance painter and graphic artist in Chemnitz since 1969 . His work focuses on printmaking, panel painting , building-related art, ceramic relief and plastic as well as pottery. Since 1997, Neubauer has been designing the decorations for the local carnival club in his home every year.
