Klaus pill

Klaus Pille (born October 12, 1936 in Leipzig ; † February 19, 2017 ) was a German politician ( LDPD ). He was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR and mayor of Sangerhausen .

Life

Pille, the son of a working-class family, learned the trade of a car mechanic from 1950 to 1953. From 1953 to 1960 he worked as a locksmith, motor vehicle fitter and mechanic. From 1960 to 1964 Pille studied at the Pedagogical Institute in Halle and completed his studies as a teacher of chemistry and polytechnics . From 1964 to 1967 he was a teacher at the Polytechnic High School Schochwitz .

In 1961, Pille joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany (LDPD). From 1967 to 1983 he was deputy chairman of the Sangerhausen district council for culture. Between 1972 and 1977 he completed a distance learning course at the Academy for Political Science and Law in Potsdam-Babelsberg , graduating with a degree in social science . From 1983 to 1990 Pille was mayor of Sangerhausen. From 1984 he was a member of the National Council of the National Front and from 1986 to 1990 a member of the People's Chamber.
