Klaus Rolinski

Klaus Rolinski (born July 11, 1932 in Zelenogradsk ) is a German lawyer .

Life

After fleeing from East Prussia to Großhansdorf in January 1945 and graduating from the Stormarn High School in Ahrensburg in 1953 , he studied psychology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz . Student assistant to Albert Wellek (main diploma for psychologists 1958) and law (first state examination in 1962, trainee training in Rhineland-Palatinate ( OLG Koblenz ), major state examination in 1966). From 1966 to 1968 he was a research assistant to Peter Noll , chair of criminal law, criminal procedure law and legislative theory. After receiving his doctorate in 1968 as Dr. jur. with an empirical thesis "The tendency to be precise in criminal judgment" he was from 1968 to 1972 scientific assistant to Ernst-Walter Hanack (successor to Peter Noll). From 1970 to 1972 he was the assistant assistant in the law faculty. From 1972 to 1973 he taught as an assistant professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Mainz . After his habilitation in 1973 with the thesis “The chronically recidivist criminal offenders in the new law of measures” ( Venia legendi for the subjects of criminology, criminal law and the penal system), he followed in 1973 the call to the chair for criminal law and criminology at the law faculty of the University of Regensburg (HS4 - Professorship ). In 1983 he turned down a call to the chair for criminology and criminal law (successor to Hilde Kaufmann ) at the University of Cologne . In 1997 he retired .
