Klaus Sommerkorn
Klaus Sommerkorn (born April 2, 1941 in Oels , † July 31, 2010 in Rothenburg ob der Tauber ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Sommerkorn attended school in Chemnitz , where he graduated from high school in 1959. A year later he fled to the Federal Republic of Germany , where he studied in Erlangen and Nuremberg . From 1967 he was a teacher at elementary schools.
In 1964, Sommerkorn became a member of the SPD. From 1973 he was chairman of the SPD sub-district of Ansbach , from 1974 to 1982 a member of the Central Franconia District Assembly and from 1978 a member of the Ansbach District Assembly . From 1982 to 1994 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
