Klaus Strößner

Klaus Strößner (born before 1981) is a German physicist and Vice President of the German Federal Patent Court .

Life

Strößner was a doctoral student at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart from October 1981 to June 1984 and after receiving his doctorate as Dr. rer. nat. worked there as a research assistant . In September 1987 he moved to the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA). He was initially a patent examiner , then a group leader and from April 1997 head of a patent department.

In October 2001, Klaus Strößner was appointed judge at the Federal Patent Court. He was a technical member of a technical complaints board. In May 2004 he was appointed head of main department 2 (information) of the DPMA. In July 2010, Strößner was appointed Vice President of the Federal Patent Court as the successor to Bernd Tödte .

Klaus Strößner is married and has two daughters.
