Klaus Tippel

Klaus Tippel (born May 3, 1913 in Berlin ; † March 18, 1976 in Bremen ) was a German architect and building director in Bremen.

biography

Tippel grew up in Berlin. He studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin . In 1943 he headed the construction department of the Focke-Wulf works in Posen . After the Second World War he came to Bremen as an employee of Focke-Wulf and entered the civil service of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. As head of the construction department, he was instrumental in the reconstruction of the war-torn city. In 1950 he became construction director, later senior construction director. In the 1950s he was at times the Senator's representative for the building industry at the time of Senators Emil Theil and Alfred Balcke , and again in 1970 for a year after the departure of Franz Rosenberg under Senator Hans Stefan Seifriz .

Since 1941 he was married to Maria Mahlberg .
