Klaus Witt (born July 8, 1943 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The goalkeeper Klaus Witt began his career at SV Eschweiler and moved to 1. FC Ringsdorff-Godesberg in the 1960s . With the club from Bonn he played in the then third-class Association League Middle Rhine . In the summer of 1970 Klaus Witt moved to the Bundesliga club Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , where he made his professional debut on October 10, 1970 in the 1: 4 defeat of Oberhausen at 1. FC Kaiserslautern . After a total of eleven Bundesliga games for Oberhausen, Witt moved to the regional division SVA Gütersloh in the summer of 1971 . With the Güterslohern he missed the qualification for the newly created 2nd Bundesliga three years later . A year later, Witt and his club were third in the German amateur championship .
