The Small-leaved Paraquilegia ( Paraquilegia microphylla ) is a plant type from the family of the Ranunculaceae (Ranunculaceae).
features
The small-leaved Paraquilegia is a perennial, herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 3 to 18 centimeters. The bracts are 14 to 25 millimeters long, 9 to 15 millimeters wide and usually pale lavender blue, rarely white. The seeds are narrowly winged and smooth.
The flowering period extends from June to August.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 14.
Occurrence
The small-leaved Paraquilegia occurs in west and east Siberia, in the Pamir-Alai, Tienschan, Iran, in north Pakistan, in Mongolia, in Sikkim , Nepal as well as in west and central China. The species grows on rocks and in rock joints at altitudes of 2700 to 4300 meters.
