The Kleine Kulmke is one of the two source rivers of the Kulmke . It rises at an altitude of 690 m near the lubrication point at the Auf dem Acker ridge north-northeast of Sieber in the Göttingen district in Lower Saxony and then flows south to the confluence of the Lost Kulmke (428 m), from which it is separated by the Kleiner root mountain . It then flows in a south-westerly to south-south-westerly direction, and after 3.4 km of the course of the river - which makes it 1.6 km shorter than the Große Kulmke - it joins the Kulmke at an altitude of 392 m. The valley of the Kleine Kulmke belongs partly to the nature reserve " Siebertal ".
