The Little Sur is a tributary of the Sur . It rises in the district of Tragmoos in the municipality of Teisendorf and flows into the Sur near Gessenhart in the municipality of Ainring . With a length of 10.2 kilometers it is one of the longest tributaries of the Sur. From Thundorf Mühle, the Kleine Sur is dammed several times for the mill to operate.

The Kleine Sur is fed by several smaller streams near Tragmoos and then runs eastwards towards Thundorf . From there it becomes significantly larger, as water is drained from the nearby Ainringer Moos into the Kleine Sur. From Thundorf it runs northwards and flows into the Sur on the right at Gessenhart .
