The Kleine Zeschsee is a 25-hectare lake in the southernmost tip of the municipality of the town of Zossen ( Teltow-Fläming district , Brandenburg ).
Geographical location and hydrographic conditions
The Kleine Zeschsee is located in the area of the Lindenbrück district of the city of Zossen or on the former boundary of the municipality of Zesch am See . The eastern bank is built on in the southern and central part. It is not a swimming lake.
The size is given as 25 hectares. The maximum length is 760 meters, the maximum width about 330 meters. The lake level is at an average height of 42.3 meters. It has an inflow from the Großer Zeschsee and an outflow to the Wolziger See .
Nature reserve Großer and Westufer Kleiner Zeschsee
The west bank of the Kleiner Zeschsee lies in the northern part of the 107 hectare nature reserve Großer and Westufer Kleiner Zeschsee . The nature reserve serves to preserve low and spring areas in the Nuthe - Notteniederung .
