The Wolziger See is an approximately 65 hectare lake in the area of the town of Zossen in the Brandenburg district of Teltow-Fläming in Germany .
Geographical
location
The Wolziger See is located in the southern part of the municipality of the city of Zossen. It belongs to the district of Lindenbrück . On the east bank of the lake is the Funkenmühle part of the Lindenbrück district, Lindenbrück borders the lake in the south and the Wünsdorf district with its Neuhof district in the west . It is not a swimming lake.
Hydrographic conditions
The Wolziger See is a maximum of 1.5 kilometers long and at its widest point almost 600 meters wide. The northern part of the lake is already cut off from the main part by a belt of reeds. It has a small inflow from the Kleiner Zeschsee and an outflow to the Großer Wünsdorfer See . The lake level is on average 38.3 m above sea level. NN .
