The Small Stucco Museum is a private, volunteer-run museum for stucco work in Freiburg im Breisgau , which was founded on August 1, 1979 by the master plasterer and restorer Hans Rich. The museum holdings include a wide range of original stucco work, casts of original parts as well as replicas and stucco work newly created on the basis of historical documents. From Gesimselementen and decor elements on consoles , rosettes and lintels are also numerous pieces heads, arms and reliefs in the collection. This is complemented by stucco columns as well as pilasters , balusters and other rare stucco elements.

Many of the works on display on 120 m² were created by the Freiburg company Brenzinger & Cie. created, of which a sample book can also be viewed. Other exhibits include, for example, replicas of the facade decorations on the historic department store or the Wentzingerhaus , which visitors can only view from a distance. The museum was and is also more frequently represented at trade fairs, such as the Baden Fair 2009 and 2010.

According to the Badischer Zeitung , it is the only stucco museum in Germany. The municipality of Schwarzenau calls the Austrian Schwarzenau Castle the Austrian Stucco Museum due to its rich stucco furnishings .
