geography

Geographical location

Klepary is part of the municipality Gniewkowo ( Argenau ) with the city of the same name Gniewkowo as its center; the municipality is in turn part of the powiat Inowrocławski ( Hohensalza ). The immediate neighboring villages are Murzynno ( Groß-Morin ), Murzynko ( Klein-Morin ) and Szpital ( Schöngrund ).

history

Klepary was originally an estate , but after the expropriation, the associated arable land was divided among farm workers at the time. The manor was not converted into a PGR (German LPG ), a state-owned, agricultural operation . It is interesting that the former central part of the former manor house was demolished and the village street, which originally led around the village, was then diverted between the still intact side wings of the building. The remaining parts of the building were later converted into independent farmhouses.
