Murzynno ( German  Groß Morin ) is a village in Poland and belongs to the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and thus to the Kuyavian region , which is one of the oldest cultural landscapes in Europe.

Geographical location

Murzynno is located in the municipality Gniewkowo , with the city of the same name Gniewkowo (German Argenau ) as the center (population: 7400).

traffic

There was a connection with the narrow-gauge railway (750 mm gauge ), which was mainly used to transport sugar beets to the sugar factories in Tuczno and Wierzchosławice. The narrow-gauge railway was stopped in 2003, and since then the transport of sugar beets has been handled by trucks . Large parts of the rail network were dismantled and disposed of. There is also a connection between the village and trunk road 246.

Economy and Infrastructure

The village is exclusively agricultural, like most of the villages in this region.

In the village there is the medical center NZOZ Profilaktyka Murzynno , which belongs to the state health system (pl. Podstawowa Opieka Zdrowotna ).

In 1888 the village had about 480 inhabitants.

Murzynno has a small park that was used for various occasions. However, it has not been looked after for a long time and is left to its own devices.
