Klettigshammer is a settlement in the town of Wurzbach in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

geography

The settlement of Klettigshammer is north of Wurzbach on the federal road 90, which runs in the narrow Sormitztal . To the right and left of the road, on hills and hills, there is mostly forest. It is a very hilly terrain .

history

The settlement was first mentioned in a document on December 20, 1509.

Like Heinersgrün, the place belonged to the Reussian " Lobenstein Lordship ", which belonged to the Reuss-Lobenstein line . In 1848 the place came to the Principality of Reuss Younger Line (from 1852 to the Schleiz District Office ) and in 1919 to the People's State of Reuss . The place has belonged to Thuringia since 1920.
