Heinersdorf is a district of the city of Wurzbach in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

geography

The Angerdorf is located 3 km east of Wurzbach on a plateau of the Southeast Thuringian Slate Mountains . The district , which is embedded in the forest, covers 728 hectares. The village has a connection to the federal highway 90 running in the Sormitztal . Until June 2008, Heinersdorf was connected to the Hockeroda – Unterlemnitz railway line with a breakpoint that was abandoned due to insufficient use and structural defects.

Heinersdorf was first mentioned on June 23, 1250. The place belonged to the Reussian rule Lobenstein of the line Reuss-Lobenstein . In 1812 a slate quarry was created in the corridor . In 1848 the place became part of the Principality of Reuss Younger Line , from 1852 to the Schleiz District Office and in 1919 to the People's State of Reuss , which became part of Thuringia in 1920.

Currently the place has 358 inhabitants including the residents of the hamlet Klettigshammer and the bear mill. There was a manor in the village .
