Rodacherbrunn is a settlement of the city of Wurzbach in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .
geography
The Rodacherbrunn settlement is located on a grassy, hilly plateau overgrown with forest. In terms of traffic, the hamlet is connected to the state road 1095 from Bad Lobenstein to Nordhalben . There is also a connection to Brennersgrün on the state road 2373. The Rodach rises in the district at 690 m above sea level. NHN am Rennsteig and flows into the Main .

history
On April 30th, 1570 Rodacherbrunn was first mentioned in a document.
In 1806, Napoleon and his troops moved through the town and are said to have stayed in the former inn, the Rennsteigkasino. He planted a linden tree that is still standing today. On his retreat through the village, he set numerous houses on fire, including the only inn that was rebuilt in 1845.
