Klieve is a district of the municipality of Anröchte in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

geography

The place is about three kilometers northwest of Anröchte. On the western edge of the village, the 808 road crosses the 748 road. The Sonnenbornbach flows through the village. Adjacent places are Seringhausen , Schmerlecke , Völlinghausen , Anröchte, Waltringhausen and Robringhausen .

history

The first written mention of Klieves comes from the year 1234. The place later belonged to the former "Herrlichkeit Mellrich", today's parish Mellrich.

Before January 1, 1975, Klieve was an independent municipality in the Anröchte district in the Lippstadt district . With the entry into force of the Münster / Hamm Act , the municipalities of the Anröchte office were merged to form the new municipality of Anröchte and the Lippstadt district with the previous district of Soest to form the new district of Soest .
