Robringhausen is a district of the municipality of Anröchte in North Rhine-Westphalia in the Soest district . The district has an area of ​​2.57 km² and 169 inhabitants (as of April 1, 2011).

history

The name of the place probably originated around 850 (from the name Robert, the neighboring place Waltringhausen from Walter). The place was first mentioned in a document in 1298 in the Westphalian document book . In 1300 Robringhausen was the seat of the court ( Gohgericht ) for Robringhausen, Altenmellrich , Klieve , Uelde and Waltringhausen .

Until the municipal reform in North Rhine-Westphalia, which came into force on January 1, 1975, Robringhausen was an independent municipality.

politics

The head of the village is Michael Hahne. He belongs to the CDU , which has a majority in the Anröchter municipal council. The SPD , FDP and Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen are also represented in the council.

The Robringhauser coat of arms, approved on February 28, 1956, is emblazoned as follows : "In gold, a lying red sword with the point to the left over five (3: 2) placed red rings."

Attractions

The center of the village is the St. Lucia Chapel, built in 1882. There is also an old classroom that was "polished up" by the association. In the Sonnenborntal, an old washing area by the stream is well preserved. The former water mill was converted into a residential building.
