The Blumenau Clinic was founded in 1918, the Notkerianum Clinic in 1924, the latter by the Menzing Sisters . The Stephanshorn Clinic has been part of the Hirslanden Private Hospital Group since 2010 . In 2013, a health center with a 24-hour emergency department went into operation.
