Klinik des Grauens is a 15-minute German short film by Rainer Matsutani from 1992 .
A criminal breaks his bones in a motorcycle accident and has to go to the hospital. The patient learns that all male patients in this hospital are killed with compressed air. He confides in the mentally ill night nurse, but she has the hospital evacuated and elegantly breaks more bones for him. Since the crook is completely in plaster, he cannot defend himself against the murderous night nurse and the eerie and moronic professor. Unexpectedly, a policewoman appears who now - disguised as a craftsman - kills the bad guys and saves the crook.
Clinic of horror is a tribute to the horror - B-movies of the 1950s. Accordingly, the film was shot in black and white.
The short film had its world premiere on October 30, 1992 during the Hof International Film Festival ; Matsutani won the Eastman Prize for Young Talent .
