The clinics Südostbayern AG is the joint municipal hospital operator company of the counties Traunstein and Berchtesgaden , which is also the sole shareholders of the non-profit corporation are. The headquarters of the AG is in Traunstein . It operates six clinics.

history

The district clinics Traunstein - Trostberg GmbH and the clinics of the district Berchtesgadener Land GmbH merged in the summer of 2009 to form the non-profit public limited company Kliniken Südostbayern AG and since then have jointly operated the district clinics in the districts of Traunstein and Berchtesgadener Land. The AG experienced an expansion on January 1, 2012 with the takeover of the hospital in Ruhpolding, which had previously been operated by the Sisters of Mercy .

The central clinic of the group is the Traunstein Clinic . It is the academic teaching hospital of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Paracelsus Medical Private University in Salzburg . With care level II (hospital with high-quality care), the clinic is the house with the highest care level in the network. It therefore takes on particularly demanding cases within the network and, if necessary, also supports the other institutions by means of telediagnostics. Located below this, the Bad Reichenhall District Clinic has a central function within the Berchtesgadener Land district.
