history

The origin of the group is the former spa and sports hotel "Kurzentrum Enzensberg". It was acquired in 1982 by the company "Medizin & Immobilien" (managing partner was the construction and real estate entrepreneur Albert FW Roelen ) and renamed "m & i-Fachklinik Enzensberg" under the direction of Rudolf Schäfermeier (1982 to 1990) and under the management (up to 2000) further developed by Peter Rothemund with other clinics into a group of companies. After being converted into a specialist clinic for physical medicine and medical rehabilitation, it was recognized as a hospital in 1986. On an interim basis (1996 to 1998), the clinic group also managed the hospitals in the Neu-Ulm district via a management contract under the management of Edmund Fröhlich. Albert Roelen retired from operational business in 2005. Today, Heinz Dahlhaus and Etzel Walle are the managing directors of the specialist clinics Hohenurach Dienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH , which leads the m & i-Klinikgruppe Enzensberg .
