It is located in the Süderstadt district south of the historic Quedlinburg old town. It is registered as a warehouse in the Quedlinburg monument register.
Architecture and history
The building was erected in 1906/07 by the architect Carl Lorenz as an office and warehouse for the company Hesse & Sohn . The design of the street-side facade is extremely representative and is reminiscent of a palace. Stylistically a baroque Art Nouveau was used. The middle risalit of the house is adorned with figures and coats of arms, which represent the mining industry and mechanical engineering .
