Bone Forest 2 - meat harvest is a German amateur - splatter film by Utz Marius Thomsen from 2002. It is the sequel to the film bone forest from the year 2000.

action

One year after the events from the first part, another violent criminal fled the Baltic Sea psychiatry. John Noah begins his bloody work right away and meets Mike Mansfield, who has been on the run for a year. The two begin to work together. When a group of young people comes to the forest to celebrate, the two of them erase them in no time. Only Dennis survived.

Meanwhile, the two doctors Thomas Hampton and Nicklas Kane hire the bounty hunter Nick Cave, who meets the frightened Dennis in the forest together with Kane. It quickly becomes clear that Mike Mansfield is also up to mischief, so Kane telephones Hampton, who immediately rushes to the two of them. Because Mike Mansfield is a failed experiment of his, from which he actually wanted to remove the aggression center during a lobotomy , but did the opposite. Now he wants to cover his tracks. So he kills the bounty hunter who previously looked after Noah, and so he and Dennis are the only survivors. He ties up the perplexed Dennis and tries to run away. But Mike Mansfield catches him and kills him in front of Dennis. Now that his "mission" is over, he frees Dennis.

In the meantime he has built a kind of Jesus from the severed body parts, before whom he kneels and judges himself. Dennis finds his body and puts on its disguise and now goes on a manhunt himself.

background

The 60-minute amateur film was released in 2002 by Utz Marius Thomsen as an in-house production under the Nocturnis-Pictures label. Later the label Maximum Uncut Productions (MUP) acquired the rights to all three films and brought them to the market in two different editions including bonus material on DVD. It was also the first release of the independent label.

reception

As with its predecessor, the film is aimed primarily at splatter and horror fans. A further reception outside of this framework did not take place. The three works were compared with the early directorial work by Andreas Schnaas .
