The Knock is a 382.3  m above sea level. NHN high, unwooded elevation near Pleinfeld in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen ( Bavaria ).

The Knock is north of Pleinfeld between Mäusleinsmühle and Prexelmühle in the west and Mischelbach in the east. The Swabian Rezat flows past to the west ; The Iglseebach flows along the southern foot of the mountain .

The Knock belongs in the natural spatial main unit group Franconian Keuper-Lias-Land (No. 11), in the main unit Middle Franconian Basin (113) and in the subunit Nuremberg Basin with sand plates (113.5) to the natural area Rother sand plates (113.50).
