Knud Lange
Knud Lange (born May 9, 1984 in Bremerhaven ) is a German rower and sportsman of the year in the state of Bremen .
biography
Studied for a long time at the University of Bremen . He rows for the Bremerhaven rowing club in the lightweight double quad for Germany, a boat class in which he has won several World Championship medals at the rowing world championships :
- 2006 World Cup on Dorney Lake near Eton (GB): Silver medal with Kai Anspach, Martin Rückbrodt, Knud Lange, Christoph Schregel.
- 2007 World Cup on the Olympic regatta course in Oberschleißheim near Munich: fourth place
- World Cup 2008 in Linz / Ottensheim : bronze medal with Stephan Schad, Knud Lange, Felix Övermann and Michael Wieler.
- World Cup 2009 on Lake Malta in Poznan in Poland: Silver medal with Knud Lange, Lars Wichert, Felix Övermann, Michael Wieler.
He also had various regatta successes a. a. in international student regattas for the Bremen University Eighth from the Association for University Sports (VfH) at the University of Bremen a. a. the gold medal at the 2011 European Student Championships in Moscow.
From 2006 to 2008 he was named Bremen State Sportsman of the Year three times . His brother is the rower Joos Lange. Both belong to the Association for University Sports; 2010 and 2011 team of the year in the state of Bremen.
