The Kohlbachtal nature reserve is located in the Leipzig district in Saxony . It extends west of the core town of Colditz along the Kohlbach, a tributary of the east flowing Zwickauer Mulde . The B 176 runs along the northern edge of the area, the B 107 runs to the east and the S 44 runs south-east .
