Kōji Kakuta ( Japanese 角 田 幸 司 , Kakuta Kōji ; born October 11, 1951 ) is a former Japanese ski jumper .

Career

He made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1972/73 . After placing 35 on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf , he jumped to 51st place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In Innsbruck and Bischofshofen he only finished 40th and 46th. In the overall standings, Kakuta finished 42nd with 735.1 points, tied with Sweden's Christer Karlsson . After a year break, he started at the Four Hills Tournament 1974/75 . He was able to improve his performance significantly compared to his last season. The best result was 15th place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen. He finished the overall ranking in 27th place.

His last international tournament started at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. He landed on the normal hill, tied with the Finn Harri Blumén , in 29th place.
