Kolambugan ( Filipino : Bayan ng Kolambugan ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Lanao del Norte , administrative region X, Northern Mindanao. It has 27,005 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 26 barangays . It is classified as a fourth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Kolambugan is located on the coast of Panguil Bay , approx. 51 km west of Iligan City and is accessible via the coastal road. Their neighboring communities are Tubod in the west, Maigo in the east and Magsaysay in the south.
