Konrad Heinrich Stünkel (born January 6, 1763 in Stöcken , Neustadt am Rübenberge office ; † October 7, 1826 in Braunschweig ) was an upper mountain ridge in Brunswick .

In 1778 Stünkel became a cadet in the Hanoverian artillery . Here he was taught in the Hanoverian cadet school, continued his education in mathematics and physics, and taught himself in several prestigious houses. As a non-commissioned officer, he was commissioned to learn the process of forging artillery bullets for the heavy artillery in Prussia. In 1789 he was employed as an assistant in an ironworks in Rothenhütte near Elbingerode and in 1794 toured several mining and steel works in Saxony, Silesia and Austria. Later, under the title of Hüttenriders, he was given a supervisory role over the Hanoverian ironworks in the Harz Mountains. Stünkel turned down an offer from Duke Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand , who had offered him a 1000 thalers job as a mountain ridge in Blankenburg . On February 1, 1814, he accepted an even more advantageous offer and was appointed to the ducal chamber of Braunschweig as Oberbergrat under Minister of State Gebhard von der Schulenburg-Wolfsburg .
