Konrad Wünsche (born February 25, 1928 in Zwickau ; † April 5, 2012 in Wensin , Segeberg district ) was a German teacher , educationalist and writer .

Education and family

Wish completed his studies at the universities of Leipzig , Tübingen and Bonn . In 1948 he married Anna Elsa Böthig, who was born in Leipzig. In January 1949 the eldest son Konrad Christoph was born in Leipzig. The family came to Bad Godesberg as refugees in 1950 . The children Elisabeth, Maria and Johannes were born there in 1951, 1952 and 1955. The youngest son, the screenwriter Johannes Wünsche , is married to the Cologne actress and director Annette Frier .

Teacher in Wachtberg-Fritzdorf

In 1954 he was assigned the post at the school in Fritzdorf by the district president in Cologne . In 1956 he also took over the management of the adult education center, which had existed for years.

In Fritzdorf he wrote his state paper in 1957, which he wrote as an activity report on his tasks in school and village as well as on his educational goals. In order to integrate himself into the village life of Fritzdorf, he joined the men's choir as an active member in 1960. From 1958 to 1974 he took part in the torchlight procession to the Martinsfest , gave a speech by the Martinsfeuer and then raffled the prizes of the raffle in the hall .

Professor in Berlin

In mid-November 1975 he became a professor at the Berlin University of Education (PH) . A short time later he moved to Berlin and taught there as an educational scientist. In the course of his teaching activities, he was transferred from the PH to the Technical University of Berlin .

Wish has written several books. These include numerous plays, such as Jerusalem, Jerusalem, written in Fritzdorf and published in 1966 . Also his educational treatise The Reality of the Secondary Schoolboy. Reports by Children of the Silent Majority were already written in Fritzdorf and published in 1972. The book was reprinted in 1977 and a chapter about his experiences as a teacher and citizen in Fritzdorf was added. In his book Der Volksschullehrer Ludwig Wittgenstein , published in 1985, it is expressed that his life can be compared with that of Ludwig Wittgenstein. He writes: “Of course, that raises questions that I must relate to myself as soon as I try to trace Wittgenstein's life. In my life as a young man, largely determined by ideological reasons, I myself made the leap from university to an unknown village environment to be a teacher, and later I had to make the leap back to university ”. In 2007, a gallery of anthropology by Konrad Wünsche is under the title And you misunderstand yourself! published. He was a member of the PEN Center Germany .
