Konrad Wippermann

Konrad Wilhelm Engelbert Wippermann (* December 8, 1858 in Bückeburg ; † December 13, 1935 there ) was a German state politician in Schaumburg-Lippe and from 1922 to 1925 chairman of the state government.

Life

He was the son of Heinrich Konrad Wippermann , who later became the mayor of Stadthagen . After attending grammar school in Bückeburg, Wippermann studied law in Jena from 1878 to 1881, where he became a member of the Arminia fraternity in 1878 , and Berlin. After his preparatory service, he became a district judge in 1889 and a district judge in 1895. From 1915 Wippermann worked in the Princely Ministry of Schaumburg-Lippe. In 1917 he was appointed secret ministerial advisor. After the November Revolution he was a non-party member of the state government of Schaumburg-Lippe. In 1922 he was appointed to the State Council. Between 1922 and 1925, as chairman of the state government, he was de facto Prime Minister of the state. He was chairing a grand coalition. In addition, he was government commissioner for the corresponding negotiations until 1924 for the temporarily planned connection of Schaumburg-Lippe to Prussia .
