Konstantin Leonidowitsch Makarow ( Russian Константин Леонидович Макаров ; born September 17, 1985 in Ufa , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was under contract with Buran Voronezh in the Wysschaja Hockey League since 2018 .
Career
Konstantin Makarow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Salawat Julajew Ufa . He then moved to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , for whose professional team he was active in the Russian Super League from 2003 to 2005 . The winger then also played for Metallurg's league rivals Salawat Julajew Ufa for two years.
In the summer of 2007 Makarov moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk , for which he was on the ice in the following two and a half years - first in the Super League and from the 2008/09 season in the Continental Hockey League - before he went to Lokomotive for the 2009/10 season Yaroslavl ended. For the following season , the Russian was committed by KHL participant Amur Khabarovsk , for whom he played until autumn 2011 and completed 25 KHL games. He then moved to HK Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk , which he left after 13 more games in the direction of HK Saryarka Karaganda . At this Kazakh club he stayed just under a month before he was committed by HK Sibir Novosibirsk , for which he completed another 15 KHL games until the end of the 2011/12 season.
From July 2012 Makarov was under contract with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg , before this was dissolved at the end of October 2012.
Between May and November 2017 Makarow played for Kunlun Red Star in the Continental Hockey League and at the same time for his farm team KRS Heilongjiang . In December he moved to Metallurg Novokuznetsk , for which he completed 33 games in the Vysschaya Hockey League . He was then committed by Buran Voronezh from the same league.
International
For Russia Makarov took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2003 , where he won the bronze medal with his team. He contributed to this success with two goals in six games.
