The HK Buran Voronezh ( Russian ХК Буран Воронеж ) is a Russian ice hockey club from Voronezh . The team plays in the second-rate Vysschaya hockey league .

history

The club was founded in 1977 as Buran Voronezh . Before that, there were teams in Voronezh, like Dinamo, Spartak and Burewestnik, who took part in the second-class Class B.

Buran Voronezh made his debut in November 1977 in the second division, the Pervaya League , and was a fixture in this division in the 1980s. In the 1990s, the club played regularly in the second Russian professional game class in ice hockey, the Wysschaja Liga . The last time you went to this was in the 2003/04 season . Since then, the team from Voronezh has played in what is now the third Russian division, the Pervaya League. In 2012, however, she was included in the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League , founded in 2010 .

HK Buran Voronezh acts as the farm team of KHL participant Amur Khabarovsk .
