Konstanty Skirmunt
Konstanty Skirmunt (born August 30, 1866 in Mołodów near Kobryn , † July 24, 1949 in Wałbrzych ) was a Polish politician , diplomat and foreign minister .
Life
Before 1914 he was a member of the Russian State Council, then, in 1917 and 1918, a member of the Polish National Committee ( Komitet Narodowy Polski ). From 1918 he worked in the Foreign Ministry and was then Polish Foreign Minister from June 11, 1921 to June 6, 1922. From 1922 to 1929 he was the Polish envoy in London and after the Polish representation there was elevated to the rank of embassy, he became ambassador from 1929 to 1934.
