Maurycy Zamoyski
Count Maurycy Klemens Zamoyski (born July 30, 1871 in Warsaw , † May 5, 1939 in Klemensów ) was a Polish politician , diplomat and foreign minister in the Władysław Grabski government.
Life
Maurycy Zamoyski came from the old Polish noble family Zamoyski and was one of the largest landowners in the Second Republic of Poland . From 1919 to 1924 he was Poland's ambassador in Paris and then, for seven months, from January 19, 1924, Polish Foreign Minister. In 1922 he ran for the presidential election but just lost to Gabriel Narutowicz , who then offered him the field of foreign affairs.
