In terms of style, Kontrust has a wide variety to offer, with Groove Metal representing the basic musical structure. A large number of musical elements from other genres have been incorporated into the various songs as stylistic devices, for example dance pop, reggae or German folk music . In contrast to the relatively hard music are the Bavarian costumes in which the band sometimes presents itself.
