Kopaniec (German Seifershau ) is a village in the municipality of Stara Kamienica in the powiat Jeleniogórski in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland . It is located at an altitude of about 600 m in the Jizera Mountains , a sub-ridge of the Giant Mountains . In the years 1975-1998 the municipality belonged to the Jelenia Góra Voivodeship .
