Kordula Kühlem (* 1975 in Bobingen as Kordula Krombholz ) is a German author of regional crime novels related to Cologne and a historian .

Live and act

Kordula Kühlem grew up in Bavaria and Sankt Augustin in the Rhein-Sieg district and graduated from the Albert Einstein grammar school there in 1994 .

She studied German and history as a teacher at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn , where she received her doctorate in 2008 with her thesis on the ambassador Hans Kroll . After a short collaboration with the Independent Commission of Historians to review the history of the Federal Foreign Office , she developed and published an edition of the letters of the industrialist Carl Duisberg for the Historical Commission at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences in Munich in 2012 . She also published numerous articles, e.g. E.g. about the industrialist Carl Bosch , the London debt agreement of 1953 and the history of the Bayer Dormagen plant during the First World War in the yearbook of the archive in the Rhine district of Neuss . She works as a research assistant in the archive for Christian-Democratic Politics of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung .

In 2014 she published her first crime novel, Endstation Dom , which is set in Cologne. She is a member of the Syndicate authors' association .

Kordula Kühlem lives with her husband Wilfried Kühlem and their children in Troisdorf .
