Kottmarhäuser is a district of the municipality of Kottmar in the south of the East Saxon district of Görlitz .

The Kottmarhäuser are located on the eastern slope of the Kottmar . Neighboring towns are Obercunnersdorf in the north, Eibau in the southwest and Walddorf in the west.

history

The Kottmarschenke and Kottmarbleiche, built in 1732, including some residential buildings that were designated as the Kottmarhäuser district, are located on the Eibauer and Walddorfer local corridors. Accordingly, until January 1, 1999, when the previously independent rural communities Walddorf and Neueibau were incorporated into Eibau, the Kottmarhäuser were in two different communities. The residents of the settlement come from surrounding villages and, on the other hand, as religious exiles from Bohemia and Moravia .
