Ioannis Koufis ( Greek Ιωάννης Κουφίς , English John Koufis , born June 28, 1965 in Lansing , Michigan ) is a former American - Greek ice hockey player who played for the Greek record champions Iptameni Pagodromi Athens .

Career

Ioannis Koufis was born in Lansing , the capital of the US state Michigan . From 2007 to 2013 he played for the Greek record champions Iptameni Pagodromi Athens in the Greek ice hockey league . With the club he won the Greek championship title in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013. After winning the fourth title, he ended his active career at the age of 45.

International

With the men's national team Koufis first played in 2008 in the qualification and then also in the World Cup of Division III .
