The Kowil-Nunatak ( Bulgarian Ковилски нунатак Kowilski nunatak ) is a 2020 m high nunatak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 24.93 km west of Mount Goldthwait , 12.68 km northwest of Mount Hubley and 15.46 km southeast of Helfert Nunatak from the ice masses in the north-central part of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains .
American scientists mapped it in 1961. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after a town in southern Bulgaria .
