The Lada Power Plant ( Spanish Central térmica de Lada ) is a coal-fired power plant in the city of Langreo , Asturias Autonomous Community , Spain .
The installed capacity of the power plant is 358 MW . It is owned by Iberdrola and is also operated by Iberdrola. The power plant went into operation with the first unit in 1949. Iberdrola applied to shut down the power plant at the end of 2019; shutdown is expected in 2021 or 2022.
