The power plant Vernayaz the Société de turbinage des eaux de Salvan et Vernayaz (STE SV) SA is a small hydroelectric power plant , which as a high pressure - Laufwasserkraftwerk water from sources on the territory of the municipalities Salvan and Vernayaz in Canton Valais of Switzerland processed.

The operating company has a share capital of 800,000 francs , with half of the shares owned by SEIC Télédis , an energy supplier and multimedia product provider in the canton of Valais. The plant went into operation in 2013.
technology
The system consists of two water wells and a small machine house in Vernayaz. The penstock is a 3680 m long penstock introduced. The synchronous generator with an output of 440 kVA generates energy for around 500 households.
