Krane (also Krahn , Cran , Crone ) is the name of an old Westphalian noble family .

history

origin

The family first appeared in a document in 1429 with the councilor and mayor of Unna Heinrich Krane as the electoral Cologne feudal man in Niedermassen and the countess of the march landlord in Unna. Possessions and expansion
