history

The scraper mill is one of the younger mills in the Rüdenhausen area. It was only built in 1715 by Michael Wertheimer and remained in the hands of the Counts of Castell-Rüdenhausen until it was mediatized at the beginning of the 19th century . The mill, now in private hands, remained in operation until 1927. The grinder was removed in the course of the motorway construction in 1964. The mill ditch was also leveled at that time.
